The semester is ending and it's time to do a little review about it. For me, this second half of the academic year was busy, but quiet and more relax in comparative with the last semester I had Workshop. I have had more time to do my duties, college works and other recreation activities. However, as usual in me, I procastinated a lot and many times I've been "running" to finish homeworks or projects, but now this academic year is ending and I gladly will not run anymore -until next semester-. My favourite subjects in this period were Crítica de la Arquitectura: I like subjects relationated with history so I enjoyed this one. The teacher, professor Duarte, is known by be severe, disrespected and grumpy, I agree with that opinion but I actually think that adjectives are characteristic from a sincere person that speak his mind; and English IV, of course, 'cause the interactive way to learn the language taught by professor Higgins, who has entered to my

Every time I go out my home for any reason, I like to go for a walk through the city looking for new places and stores that I don't know. In that action, I really like to watch the shop windows to see what the store sells. I really like to walk through shopping centers to discover what type of store are there. Sometimes, I find out beautiful patios like the one inside "galpones" (warehouses) in Persa Victor Manuel near to Persa Bío Bío, and unique places like Bombero Adolfo Ossa where always smells like shoe polishing because many shoe shiners work there. Despite I said I walk around the city, actually I usually walk in the same area which is the center of the city and I ocassionally visit other places. However, I always find something new or different every time I walk through Agustinas, Huérfanos, Merced, San Francisco or Bandera/San Diego. Indeed, I'm always looking for any bookstores where sell books cheaper (Librería Chilena it has the lowest prices, bu

A few years ago, I went up Cordillera de los Andes with my eternals trip pals Carlos and Benjamín to see cóndores, we get to the viewpoint after hours of trekking and, after a hard walk, we can´t reach our goal to see the bird. It was a shame, but even we can´t reach our original objective look the landscape and the sun falling down was a very unique and special moment for all of us. It was 2019 when my cousin Carlos called me to invite me to go with him and his son to Mirador de Cóndores, a viewpoint in Cajón del Maipo in Cordillera de los Andes that is over 2000 meters above sea level where you can see cóndores flying between the mountains and the sky. After his call, I went to stay in his house to go from there to the viewpoint and then the next day arrived and we got prepared for hour trip. It was long one and a half hours of travel by car and another 2 hours of going up the steep path to reach our goal. Sadly, we saw any birds and we planned wrong our trip. When we arrived to

Since I was a kid, I always heard my parent's childhood stories and their good memories from their youth. My dad is Santiaguino, so I can often visit the places and neighborhoods where he grew up, but the situtation is different with my mom. She is Valdiviana and it was difficult to me to imagine the places where her stories are on. I always heard her stories about how she and her sibling went to the countryside to pick apples or castañas and eating moras from the zarzamoras on the sides of the roads. As a city boy as I'm, this stories seems strange and out of the ordinary to me. It was not until 2014 or 2015 -my memory is horrible- when I had the chance to visit for first and only time the city where my mom's family come from.

Today, I would like to talk about one of my closest familiar, my second cousin Benjamín. As usual in a big family, some members of different generation were born in the same period of time, and that is the case of me and Benjamín. We both were born in 2001, but he is older than me for about 7 months. He is the only grandson of my aunt Teresa and the only kid of my cousin Carlos. For him, my late grandpa is his great grandfather. In few words, we have a generational difference, but we have the same age. As kids from the same family, we know each other since I have memories and we did everything together. I remember how every Sunday afternoons after visiting my grandparent's grave I visited him to spend all the evenings playing footbal at his yard or in the street outside his house; later when we grew up, playing PES (a.k.a. Winning Eleven) or WWE Smackdown videogame on his PS2; and when we get adolescence we played CoD Black Ops I and II on his PS3. Mostly of summer vacations both f

Hello, Reader! How I was born in Chile, and old territory from Spanish Empire, my native language is Spanish, but Chilean dialect. This mean that I do not speak my first language as well as I should. As a good Chilean as I am, I "eat" some letters and syllables from words, what make me sound very peculiar between Spanish speakers. But I'm not going to talk about only Spanish, today I'm going to talk about my experiece with languages. Since I have entered to educational system, I have been instructed to learn English as a subject along my studies. But, sadly, after 12 years studying I haven't learned to speak English as my second language. Although I can read and communicate my ideas, my vocabulary is very short and I can't understand well an English speaker cause of my few experiences speaking the language. I must highlight my latest English teacher at highschool, Claudia Torres, who really gave me a good instruction and helps me to improve my pronunciation an

Its a fiction novel set in medieval age and follows the story of "the Knight" on his search to find out himself and take of his rusty armor after his wife demanded him to take it off to see his face again because she forgot it after he never stop wearing the armor for a long time, the reason why the armor is rusty. Even his son can't remember his face. Before this situation, the main charachter began a travel to take off his armor with help from Merlín, a squirrel and a bird called Rebeca -beside anothers second characters- for recover his family and discover who he is behind the armor. Actually, the book belongs to self-help genre, but when I
