My languages experiences

Hello, Reader!

How I was born in Chile, and old territory from Spanish Empire, my native language is Spanish, but Chilean dialect. This mean that I do not speak my first language as well as I should. As a good Chilean as I am, I "eat" some letters and syllables from words, what make me sound very peculiar between Spanish speakers.

But I'm not going to talk about only Spanish, today I'm going to talk about my experiece with languages.

Since I have entered to educational system, I have been instructed to learn English as a subject along my studies. But, sadly, after 12 years studying I haven't learned to speak English as my second language. Although I can read and communicate my ideas, my vocabulary is very short and I can't understand well an English speaker cause of my few experiences speaking the language.
I must highlight my latest English teacher at highschool, Claudia Torres, who really gave me a good instruction and helps me to improve my pronunciation and vocabulary. She is a very good English teacher and set on me a base of the language to get on.

On the other hand, in secondary school I had French and German learnings where I do not learn near nothing. For two years, I got French lessons but I can only remember few things like the subjects, the conjugation of regular verbs and vocal conjugations. However, I can't speak the language and I cannot understand a French speaker. While, for a year I got German lessons, lessons from I learned nothing. Sorry to my German teacher, but in my defense it was only a year of study.

Nowadays, I ocassionally learn and practice Portuguese on Duolingo app, but it's been a long time since I open the Portuguese lessons screen, so I can't say much about my experience with this language.

Without anymore to say, I say goodbye. Wish you a great weekend and see you next wednesday.
